K - I believe they do hide it, but What is the "obvious reason"?

Even Naturaopaths can be protective of their sales business. I have seen the Herbology people doing it too.
In fact, maybe thats the only way to survive as an alternative provider in the health care industry - keep quiet when it comes to non-patented cures or the money will stop flowing.
