Some of us have chronic allergies. This means there is continued release of histamine in our system. Histamine is a hormone which has many regulatory effects on the secretion and inhibition of other hormones and neurotransmitters.
Besides having direct consequences on immune system mediators and metabolites, it also has direct affect on stomach acid production.
I am wondering if, because of constant circulating histamine product, mediation hormones are causing low HCL production. This would in turn have downstream affects on enzymes and other factors which contribute to overall bowel PH.
If bowel PH is off, this could be an invitation for the establishment of parasitic organisms.
I think there is a general misconception on the adverse systemic problems associated with chronic allergies. Shroom
