Re: I just started Urine Therapy...Yeehaw!

Hi Lovey :)

What is your diet like in general?

Do you smoke, drink, or take any drugs or medications?

Do you take dairy, meat, fried foods, or wheat-based products?

Canned foods or other highly processed foods?

All of these things (and more) can have an impact on both the "strength" (of taste) of the urine, and how concentrated it becomes. I have noticed that crackers (and probably other "heavy" bread products, or at least wheat-based ones) cause the urine to get fairly concentrated, or "strong", even if I do drink a lot of water.

The only "questionable" foods I've eaten while on UT are things like pizza, cheetos, and "commercial" oatmeal cookies, ALL of which have a pretty strong effect on the taste of the urine later that day, and even somewhat on the following day as well.

But on the other hand, fresh fruits and vegetables, organic rice, barley, and oatmeal, homemade soups (with fresh or frozen vegetables, not canned stuff!), all seem to have what I consider a positive effect on the taste -- and not only the taste, but the "feel" of it also ... I think this is the pH level I'm "feeling", but I don't know for sure. All I know is those above-mentioned junk foods definately make it "feel" worse as well ... like, less "smooth", more acidic or something...

Meat, alcohol, coffee, tea, wheat, canned foods, and dairy have all been out of my diet for a while now, long before I started UT, so I really can't speak from experience on how those affect taste/feel/concentration, but if the junk foods I do happen to eat occasionally are any indication (which DO contain some amounts of wheat and dairy, and of course other synthetic garbage), then I shudder to think how adversely affected the urine must get from all those other "big" things, especially if they are a standard part of the diet!

EDIT: Also, if your body is under stress or going through some illness, that can certainly have an effect on it also!
