1. While you are out of your body, who or what guards it? (An empty "living" corpus is a disturbing thought.)
2. Why or for what purpose might I do this?(Not to be practical, but how will it prepare me for death and not choosing to come back to this place?)
3. Why would an OBE be anything remotely like an NDE?
I am serious in asking these questions. When all of my generation was wildly experimenting with drugs, I managed, somehow, to step back and ask myself, "Why would I get stoned, drop acid, or chew up peyote to seek a god or religious experience that may just be experiencing the chemicals and not the real thing--if there is a Real Thing?" This skepticism was anything but virtue, but certainly saved me a lot of grief. Sometimes, I feel like I have a tenuous hold on my body, and it is the sheer beauties of all around me, and a deep commitment to a couple other people, that keep that me in this body. The effort is not how to get out of the body, but rather to stay in it until our "tasks", contracts, mission-purpose is fulfilled. Tips on how to stay in the body would be helpful for many of us.
