Thanks, Sara, for your thoughts and wishes. About stevia, I do not use packages, and only use a smidgeon. Even diabetics can use stevia, as it does not change insulin levels. I believe Budwig would have allowed it, but she is not here to verify. But, since I do want the most natural products possible, I have just ordered a pound of organic, unprocessed stevia whole leaf. This is the real thing, as it came from the ground. It takes hours to steep the sweetness out of it, when you take the powder or liquid that is the extract; this is the whole plant. This is best because nothing is missing. Stevia in this form is actually good for the pancreas and the health in general. It is not just ok, it is very healthy. The extract is probably ok, but lacks the real health-giving properties that the whole leaf has.
