Should I buy an Aquasana water treatment system?

The debate between distillers and not is everywhere. I have been ready to buy a distiller until while doing research I came across this filter system. Its suppose to be better than a distillar but doesn't take out minerals. I am consitering it becuase I always wondered if using Sea Salt would be enough to replace minerals lost during distillation. Has anyone used this method? Any ideas?
