"see the words, not the lesson, then argue how offensive it is, an underdeveloped mind will. cut themselves off from learning, foolishly. with a closed mind, nothing new to experience."
Quite the opposite.
A learned and strong mind is highly critical. It is open, yet extremely cautious as to what enters it's precious gates. Once the enemy enters the gates, he is extremely difficult to remove. The initial post of "happy friendly thoughts" is merely a Trojan horse.
My position is called critical thinking, for those of you flower children who haven't heard the term before.
An open mind, without the filter of critical thinking, quickly becomes a cesspool of confusion.
Here's an example. Everybody who preaches tolerance is a hypocrite. You can't preach or promote tolerance because then you are opposing those of us who are intolerant. You are not tolerating our intolerance. Therefore, logically you must remain mute on the subject, else you are apt to offend someone. I on the other hand believe that offending others is OK, if done for the proper reasons.
It's called critical thinking, friends, and fasting can help greatly. I believe it will help you flush out all those illegal drugs from your past that have gathered themselves up in your mind and bind up your neurons in your gray matter from firing properly.
