EP 0 200 155 further describes solutions of a chemically-stabilized
chlorite matrix for intravenous and perioperative administration. The
agent has proved to be effective in the treatment of Candida albicans
infections.
Link to patent page read it all as it can be a little confusing but it would suggest that chlorite base medications are effective against Candida.
