Chest & Back pains

Hi,
I wonder if someone can help. I am a bit concerned about some back and chest pain I have been experiencing. A few days ago I started getting sharp pains in my back (on the left side) which seemed to spread to my chest (left side) It's a constant nagging pain at best, and every now and then (about 3 times an hour) I get a short sharp wave of pain both in that area on my back and in my chest, around my heart, as if someone is sticking a metal pin through me (from my back, under my left shoulder blade, through to my heart). I know this can't be a heart attack, as I'm only 27 and it would have happened by now! But I don't know what it is, and I don't recall twisting my back or anything. Any ideas? Tweet
