I'm new to this forum and was just after a little advice. I stumbled across Tony's Mega Super Probiotic 12/24/48 Hour Yoghurt/Kefir recipe a couple of weeks ago and started making pro-biotic yoghurt which I've been eating every day. Great post by the way.
I was just wondering if anyone's ever experimented with using the pro-biotic bacteria in ThreeLac (http://www.ghthealth.com/ghthealth/product/detail/threelac.aspx) to make pro-biotic yoghurt. It's a rather expensive product and I was hoping I could make it go a little further supplementing with a Threelac-rich yoghurt.
The strains they include in the product are: Enterococcus Faecalis, Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus Subtilis. I've heard that enterococcus faecalis is an opportunistic bacterium that has caused problems with some people until recently was banned in countries like Australia.
