I did save this beauty. I had not tried to slice it previously, but since you asked the question, Tracey, I just went ahead and did it. And yes, the monster glob is in fact many smaller stones stuck together. The smaller stones average size is far bigger than the average size of the stones passed earlier, but it was multiple stones nonetheless. I am still at a loss to explain why these stones did not flush with the others. I have many suggestions but no firm answers on that. If anyone knows for sure what causes this, please let me know.
