Re: Christine Maggiore, vocal skeptic of AIDS research, dies at 52

First of all I would just like to say kudos to you for writing such a detailed post, I think that would of taken me forever to write.

On a personal note I have always been biased of industrialised nations view of HIV and AIDS for 4 reasons:

1) It's affected blacks disproportionately to everybody else. Genocide?
2) The fact there were federal projects underway to create this kind of plague i.e 'Special Virus Cancer Program' started around 1962.
3) The hypothesis had gained a strong movement against it in the scientific community including some of the worlds finest scientists including one nobel laureate with no apparent financial gain to be had out of fighting the hypothesis, on the contrary it has probably cost them financially to be labelled a 'dissident'.
4) Alleged claims of HIV isolation is based on non-specific “markers”.[1]*

*Is this true? I find it hard to believe that 20 odd years of research on this and they have not isolated a virus or is this not true? You are very well read on HIV - I would be interested on you view. I did read that in 2001 a German court ruled it had never been isolated.

Because of this view which to me emcompasses an economic, historic and geopolitical agenda I will always be suspicious of not just HIV but medicine it its entirety.

Your obviously very well up on all HIV data and studies and I have a feeling me and you could go around forever. On that note I feel there are more experienced scientists both orthodox and dissident who have already argued this more accurately than I ever could so below is a link where the British Medical Journal generously hosted an internet debate concerning the nature and causes of AIDS beginning with David Rasnick's February 2003 response to a paper entitled The Politics of AIDS in South Africa, and continuing until April 2005. Unfortunately, all responses were appended to a single internet page, which eventually grew to encompass over 7,000,000 characters, a page size which proved unmanageable for some internet readers. For educational purposes, the responses are here presented in pages of more manageable size.
