Flax Oil and Yougurt

I just can't get myself to eat cottage cheese. Is it ok to use yogurt instead? Will it be as beneficial as CC? If so, can anyone tell me what kind of yougurt I should get ( Plain, Non-fat,etc)and how much to mix.
