You might want to consider the taking botanical oils that are rich in the Omega oils and phyto (plant) sterols including the essential fatty acids (EFA) like linoleic and linolenic acids.
They are very good for assisting in the recovery and relief from pain in joints, arthritis, uric acid, etc. Oils from a botanical source rather than animal source would be better and examples would be flax seeds, avocado seeds, sunflower seeds, olive seeds, etc.
Make sure that the oil are in its natural state and not affected by heat, air which oxidises it, and excessive exposure to sunlight. Ideally a blend of an oil of the above seeds would be beneficial.
