My girlfriend's been suffering with a troublesome right leg for many months now. It started when she was running with new shoes and a few days later her leg swelled up significantly. It's been accompanied by swelling and a blue/gray discoloration.
Thinking it was fractured, she got a bone scan done and everything looked solid. A later MRI showed that her tendons were inflamed. They called it tenosynovitis.
Anyway, it's been going on for about 5 months now. Every time she does any exercise or walks for too long, it swells up.
My first thought was BF&C, but not sure how effective that would be for tendons.
Any suggestions to help speed up the healing process?
