Re: Amino Acids--OMG, and a discovery, Lyme's/ammonia/Glutamine

I was looking on iherb for "aspartate" and found the Mag aspartate, and also L-aspartic acid- is that what was meant by L-Aspartate for ammonia too?

Free-Form Powder
Amino Acid Supplement
L-Aspartic acid plays a vital role in energy production. It is one of the components necessary to move high energy NADH molecules from the main body of a cell to its mitochondria, or primary energy-production areas. Once there, the NADH is used to generate ATP, the energy fuel that powers all the cell's activities. Besides helping with energy production, L-Aspartic acid is a major excitatory neurotransmitter.

Newport...this might be hard to answer...if you had a VERY limited budget, and were out of all your supplements, and could only get what you thought were the most crucial-- :)
what would your order look like? What supplements would you never go without??

I think I'll put in my iherb order later...I'm still thinking about it.
