Thanks for your answer. The eye doctor, who fitted me with contact lenses said to not cry while wearing these lenses because it would damage them and the eyes.

Apparently proteins stick to the lenses as a film and won't allow oxygen to get to the cornea. You have to use enyzmes to get the protein off.

Didn't know if tears from crying was chemically changed somewhat due to emotions or the lymph system was already full of this NPN and flooded the eyes and sinuses due to volume of tears shed.

Do notice that my eyes and sinuses do not swell as much as they use to. For many years, use to think it was an allergic reaction to the tears.
