Candida and Leaky Gut question

From what I have read, it seems that for candida to get out of the GI tract, it needs to have caused Leaky Gut first. I recently had an endoscopy, which included assessment for Leaky Gut, so I know I don't have that. I have been on a couple of short courses of Antibiotics in the last 6 months (3 for less than 2 weeks each) and take birth control pills, but the only real symptoms I have are occasional fatigue (which seems pretty common) and sinus issues. Despite comments from friends who say chronic sinus problems are usually candida related, I have trouble seeing how I could have systemic candida without leaky gut. No oral or vaginal thrush either. Thoughts?
