Kitten with respitory issues

A long story short. We adopted a kitten from a lady with the most discusting dirty house you can imagine. The kitten was washed asap when we got home. She smelled really bad and probley never had a bath. (7 weeks) so now a week later she still is breathing a bit raspy and sneezes allot. I have been giving her garlic but its pretty hard making a kitty eat garlic. I feel I am torturing her.I also ordered a parasite mixture that someone on here reccomended that is tasteless for cats. So what can I do(other than send her to a vet for antibotics) for the respitory thing? I have oregenol oil but I can imagine how to get THAT down her. Any suggestions of natural therapys for kitty's with an respitory infection?
