Re: seeing my ex-husband through a window

Looking at something through a window can imply being in a situation in which there is a need to be on the look out or simply to be watching out for something – in this case it is something pertaining to the ex-husband.

The ex-husband does represent an aspect of your own mind and can show you how your mind is thinking. He can reflect how you are thinking about the ex-husband and also about the idea of a failed relationship. Seen this way, the scene can be implying that you are being on the lookout for any sign of mentally expressed sorrow and perhaps also for any signs of sorrow from the ex himself.

The ex making a phone call can suggest that mentally there is some call for or need for an aspect of the self to hear about the sorrow. But note that the call is not being made to you, that is, the mind is not sharing its thoughts with the emotional (the female) aspect of yourself. While you on a more emotional level suspect there is cause for tears, your way of thinking is out to deny this. (He told me no, I´m not crying) Note also that the one way view out of this particular type of window would also suggest that the mind is not able to look within. This would imply not being able to search the innermost emotional levels.

Moving from the wall to see the ex in person would suggest a need to getting around the ego barrier that is preventing a more direct communication between mind and body or emotions. Even without the implication of there being an ego barrier, it appears that the mind persists in denying the real sorrow that you have nevertheless emotionally perceived.

While the most important aspect of a dream focuses upon your own psychological state it can also show you something that your waking reality cannot. Are you looking for a sign of sorrow or regret from the ex.? It is likely to be there but he is not going to acknowledge it. Don’t let your mind or the ex himself deny what you have perceived. An ego is a powerful thing – especially for a male. You have had more than one dream suggesting the ex-husband is sad.
