if you google "iodine salve" within this forum, you'll find lots of stuff. When I first made it, a couple of years ago, I sent out quite a bit. I really need to go back and find all the testimonials. The original recipe is on the iodine4health website, here:

A lot of people have made it themselves, using that recipe. And a few have claimed the recipe as their own! I "caught" a poster on the yahoo Iodine group accepting thanks for "her" recipe...lol... :)

The reason that I made the salve in the first place is because of problems with painting...the first being evaporation and the second, staining. Suspending the Iodine in an oil takes care of both of those problems.

The EO's that I've added to the recipe all smell yummy and have antimicrobial effects... Tweet
