Re: could mitral valve prolapse cause adrenal fatigue and apnea?

Thanks for the response. Yeah I guess if they didn't find anything on the EKG then there probably isn't a problem. I'm thinking its still the same problem I suspected before, just burnt out adrenals which got overstimulated by the ephedra and caused a surge of adrenaline which my adrenals couldn't & for whatever reason sent my blood pressure and heart rate into a tail spin.

I had a few EKGs since I started having these problems and everytime it showed my heart was perfectly fine so I guess there really isn't any problem there.

I think getting back to your original question though, the extra strain on the body with having a heart murmur likely strains the adrenals as the adrenals are compensating any time your BP is altered due to the murmur, just a thought. I know in my experience when my adrenals are at their worst I can barely breathe through my nose and when they're good I can breathe relatively well through them.

Could be you're burnt out in general and you've become more reactive to something you either eat regularly or something in your environment. With weakened adrenals you will succumb much more easily to these allergies/sensitivities and as a result may experience problems such as sleep apnea. I know if I ate something like ice cream right now, I wouldn't be able to breathe well at all tonight and more than likely experience sleep apnea or at the very least the symptoms of sleep apnea.
