Medicated Cream Kills Head Lice - I've Been Told

I just got an email from a nice lady who used the Medicated Cream to get rid of her son's head lice that he picked up from another child at school.

I have told you all that one of the best ways to kill head lice is to slather olive oil or mayonaise on the hair and scalp - wrap in a plastic shower cap and a tobagin (knit hat)- leave on for 24 hours - then wash.

The lack of oxygen kills the lice and the eggs. This lady went a step further and used the Medicated Cream. She only left it on overnight - it killed the lice - killed the eggs (they combed right out) and relieved his itching scalp.

The cream does contain clove oil which contains eugenol - the only known chemical that will melt the hard plastic-like coating on parasite eggs.
