While I have always promoted a change to all natural fruits and vegetables when fighting diseases such as cancer, I have never known anyone that was on a pure vegetarian diet for a long time to be significantly healthier than many others on a mixed diet.
As a matter of fact, most of those that I have known to go pure vegetarian went back after a few month to a couple of years, citing "problems" or not feeling well.
