You clearly have Exfoliative cheilitis. But what took me by surprise is how much it has affected your lips. I have the same exact appearance if I decide not to use any lip balm for several weeks. Which leads me to ask you seb, how long have you left the keratin overgrowth? To me that looks as if itís been there for well over 6 weeks!!
Do you carry scissors seb, to cut off any unwanted dead keratin overgrowth?
Personally I have never kept my lips longer than 2 weeks mainly because of other peoples responses and reactions, (This says a lot about my insecurities right?)
Anyways, I still couldnít see any of the Oozing you mentioned or the green colour. The typical yellowish somewhat brown colour of the crustation is all I could see.
But what I would like to understand is, how is it you got to this stage so quickly?
(Gosh how do I put this into words)
Remember when you said that when you first got EC, and how your lips were the exact same now as they were then?
Well your EC looks as though itís been uncured and damaged for quite some time. When I first got EC, my crusts were not as bad, but as I grew older and the longer I had EC, the severity and the appearance of the crust became significantly more. In other words, the crust forming gets worse overtime. Why this happens I donít know.
SEB Ė what have your medical advisors said ?
I mean have they suggested any medical treatments?
