Bought same brand / different model...Re: does anyone know about this distiller?

I got the Love Model 3 Distiller for my daughter in college. She has been using it for almost a year now without any problems. It appears to be a very similar model to the one you were looking at, except that the Model 3 Distiller has a glass container. According to my daughter the glass is easily broken...that's one problem she DID have. So it may be more economical to go with the distiller that comes with the plastic container and use your own glass container to catch the water distillate.
