Excellent tip. I used to forget stirring up my kefir during fermentation before and sometimes there's just a whole buch of weird stuff on the top.
Ever since i've agitated my kefir once in a while, everything's been fine.
Just remember if you're going to rinse your kefir grains, use distilled water and not tap water! Distilled water is absolutely pure H20 with no chemicals whatsoever. : )
