After a couple of weeks of taking Perma-guard diatomaceous earth internally, I couldn't continue to ignore the amount of aluminum in it or the effect that ingesting such a quantity of aluminum was having on me. According to this analysis the aluminum content is 1100 micrograms per gram, or 0.11% by weight.
Even weeks after stopping, I feel heavily impaired cognitively, spacy, unable at times to remember common words or the names of close friends, basically lost. A pity, really, and hopefully it will get better now that I've stopped. It's a little embarrassing having my friends finish all my sentences for me lately. :-)
The idea suggested in the link above, that eating something with that much aluminum in it isn't harmful, is classic marketing-speak.
I'm recording this here even though it's off the forum topic so that anyone who read my original post will see this one following it.
I still think the Humaworm product (which is completely unrelated to the other product I'm talking about here) gave me amazing results, though, and am planning round 2 after the 90-day rest period has elapsed.
