i do feel back on track. i am not too obsessed with the weight thing, but i have to mention that i puffed up 18 pounds with fluid in a matter of a couple of days. i almost put myself in the hospital! i was really kicking myself at first, then got my head in a better place and realized i knew how to fix it. back off, return to water only for a day or two, return to very lght watery foods, trust your body.
i've since "depuffed" by half, and am still taking the steps to return to normal, and sanity. my fast yesterday was satisfying and successful. once again i am looking forward to the process, instead of being discouraged.
there was some celebrity, Mae West ?, who said "if i can't be an example, i'll serve as a warning." or words to that effect. that would be me!
i hope people don't get too discouraged and down. it is a learning curve in fasting, as well as life, so take it as a challenge!
