The Ferryman

Silver swift, the river be,
The past is present endlessly,
Bend the circle, join the ring,
Turn your head, hear the ferryman sing.

Tunneled deep, slipping below,
Deadly arrow, golden bow,
Breath to death, the waters bring,
Turn your head, hear the ferryman sing.

Troubled mind, wretched soul,
Take advice, pay the toll,
Step across, the journey begins,
