Re: Mass. 2nd-grader sent home for crucifix drawing

I thought christmas was supposed to be about the birth of jesus, not his death. I wouldn't let my daughter watch violent and gory films or tv programs, when she was the age of that child, for the same reasons I kept her away from churches with those graphic, and often gory, depictions of jesus being tortured and killed on a cross.

It certainly would have worried me if she had started drawing them.
