Re: did i do something wrong?

That's really cool that your parents were doing this flushing so long ago!

Here's what works for me...

Fast for the 24 hours prior to the flush, except for drinking lots of apple juice. Try drinking 1 or 2 gallons during this 24 hour period. There is something about apple juice that I believe works better than malic acid alone - it also works as a mild laxative to help clean out the system - you need an empty digestive system or digesting food can bottleneck the flush and may prevent optimum results. The apple juice will also keep you from getting too hungry or dehydrated.

Did you use a strainer and sift through your results? Just looking in the bowl is not enough to see results. Some stones are small, and some do not float.

You might also want to try a salt water flush (2 teaspoons Sea Salt per 1 quart luke warm water) or a colonic/enema right after your liver flush. It can help to flush out stones that have been flushed from the liver/gallbladder but are then sitting in the intestines.

Don't get discouraged - it seems like everyone gets a dud flush every once in a while. I've had 2 duds and 3 successful flushes so far...
