Your really trying with this one aren't you Oh4, perhaps its better to really simplify things for you. Australians and Europeans are well aware that the taxes they pay, are used in part to pay for their healthcare, this includes providing free healthcare for those, that for whatever reason do not pay taxes, (therefore do not pay anything for their healthcare). It also means that we, and the Europeans, (I will include Canada here as well), know that the reason we do not receive a bill for any hospital stay is that we pay a tax levy, so that we are not liable to pay, up front, if we do need hospital care. We are all fully aware of what percentage of our income tax goes towards healthcare.

To think that people in other countries are ignorant of how their government and healthcare works is arrogant, and shows a distinct lack of knowledge about the world in which you live in.

Maybe if you got your nose out of the right wing conservative propaganda you are so fond of, you might be able to see past it.
