Happy Birthday dude I understand what your going through. No one but the ones who suffer from this condition can understand the hardship that it causes. How old are you by the way? I'm 26. I recently had my birthday and it sucked. I felt so alone. I was glad once it was over. I am still trying to improve this condition but I feel that I'm better off just exfoliating it every night by applying stuff before I go to sleep so I don't have to worry about any dead skin when I wake up. It's not just how the dead skin looks but how it feels on your lips making them stiff and leaving you expressionless, ironically it is easier to frown than smile with this condition (not lol by the way). I want to call some of my old friends once I learn to manage this. I've turned my phone off for months so maybe they called and left me some messages. I just leave my phone off cause I never want to go out anyway. I use lotion at night but when I wake up my lips are bright red so I need to use something that can exfoliate without leaving my lips all inflamed which is why I am looking into Psoriasis medication because these remove dead scales while reducing inflammation. I could use it every night before I go to sleep and wake up with fresh lips that are not inflamed. Once I find that cream/ointment then I can live a somewhat normal life. My family is struggling financially so I have to use my money to chip in for the mortgage so I can't afford a doctor's fee. Plus I got a $500 speeding ticket so I'm currently broke. Plus I have student loans. The list goes on.... Tweet
