I think you have to just listen to your body. I followed the body ecology diet for awhile and it wasn't right for me personally. I have tried candida diets and programs that were all about raw fermented foods (renewlife CandiGone/candida diet) like Apple cider vinegar etc... and progams that vehemently opposed it. The program I am on now doesn't allow it at all, and I feel much better not having any. Trust your body. Trust how you feel, what works for one person, doesn't necessarily work for every body.
