I don't know what's going on.
I rarely ever had insomnia, I always had the opposite problem. I used to sleep a lot, like 9-12 hours straight a day sometimes longer if depressed.
Now, I can only sleep 2-3 hours. I will wake up and be wide awake after a couple of hours thinking I slept a really long time, and look at the clock and it will only show a couple of hours passed. I feel so wide awake that I just get up and do something. I will try to lay back down and go to sleep but I can't. So, I will stay up for a few more hours until I feel tired again, then go to sleep and the same thing will happen.
This started slowly and got worse during the past 2 months and now it's every day.
Also what is weird is that I will keep waking up right on the hour or really close to it, like exactly 3:00 AM etc.
What is going on?
