IMHO, though, carrots - RAW carrots - are OK. They've got enough fibre to rip through your system hard and fast, semi-digested and picking up a lot of gunk on their way down, at least in my case.
Also, any and all lettuce seems to be perfectly fine. Ditto for green string beans.
As to beets, if they are cooked from raw by yourself, they are fine, and may actually be good. 200 grams of cooked beet will give you almost instant bowel movements, which is a pretty quick solution for constipated & dead-fungi-intoxicated states. Also, a sufficient amount of beets will be laxative enough in effect that they will blast out of your system before the sugars in em are actually digested.
