Re: Parents recount flu jab nightmare

There is an interesting aside to this story, the reasons why parents are getting their young children and babies injected with this flu vaccine in the first place.

I was listening to a radio program discussing this topic, and many parents said that they chose to have their very young children vaccinated, because they didn't want their children to get ill, for the fact that if the children became sick, they would have to take them out of daycare or school and take time off work to care for them at home.

Many of the parents said that they simply couldn't afford to take time off to care for a sick child.
