I thought this was interesting: 2 cups of broccoli gives you 400% of your USRDA dose of vitamin C (246mg). Wow. That's not bad for food. And it's doubtlessly in an easily assimilated form. 400% a day may not be quite enough for your recovery therapy, but it ain't bad. No reason not to add this super healthy food to your overall plan.

If you want to go crazy for vitamin C from a food source, check out the Kakadu plum.
What's your therapeutic dose of vitamin C? 6000mg? Each about the weight of orange in these things and you've got it. I bet they're tart.

But let me restate this: Eat good foods.

There's no reason to avoid piling on the nutrients from healthy foods. Here's a list of some of the best:
