I'm currently taking magnesium citrate. I really need it as I've had a candida flare up and I work round computers all day. I take 200mg with each meal in capsule form. I've heard that you can only absorb 200mg at a time.
But I've just thought that maybe this is interfering with my digestion. How do I get round this? I also have leaky gut so I don't think taking it with water between meals is advisable.
Is it better to take it with food? I'm aware that it's best absorbed in the evening and with lemon or something acidic tasting but I have to take it through out the day otherwise I get the jitters
