I did the juicing when I started the candida diet last year but soon tired of making them, not exactly delicious are they? lol Of course you are right, I should do them, do you make them?
I am going to try and make my own rice milk today, must be cheaper than buying it. I did make almond milk but it gave me the runs again, so almonds are now on the list of no-no foods. Got a cupboard full of them too!
Very reluctantly, I am going to stop making kefir with ordinary milk, as when I was in hospital I did not get the runs as bad, and basically I had to rescue the kefir when I got home yesterday and was yearning for it too. A couple of hours later I got the runs again and terrible wind. Sigh! I've got loads of kefir, so I'll try some of it in some homemade rice milk see if it works. I can't tolerate soy so the milk options for the kefir is becoming quite reduced.
I've seen on youtube that one can make quinoa milk, its a common drink in the middle eastern countries, so I maight try that with the kefir too.
Its a pain being ill eh? Got to keep experimenting with various options all the time. neverending.
