I agree about the water. Being adequately hydrated is a really big deal. That being said, it's worth considering that the iodine load in your body has finally reached a place where it can dislodge halides in such a way as to bring considerable discomfort, even after a year. I'm not a poster-child of fast response myself. After 2-1/2 years of day-in, day-out supplementation, I am astonished when I feel an internal shift beginning and ending. I don't think I was absorbing well in the beginning, and having sorted out some of that problem, my body is having a very deep response to the dose it's finally getting. Is this you? I don't know. But it's one possibility.
