Re: Have any of you had your symptoms reduced by medication?

I was on steroids for a few weeks, and they did help with the inflammation, but they did not help with the peeling. Have your doctor look up granulomatous cheilitis and see if your biopsy matches this diagnosis. That's what my doc thinks, and she put me on minocycline and plaquenil. It's been two months since I started those and it's looking a lot better. Still peeling, but soo much better. Good luck to you. Keep us updated. Tweet
