Re: I am starving!

I've done over a dozen flushes (most likely many more, but I lost count and I don't count the ones I completely trashed due to unsuccessful experimentation) and Still feel *starving* during a flush evening. I still have low blood pressure, low iron, and low blood Sugar even after diet change and so many cleanses and flushes (admittedly, not nearly as bad as before.) I've tried fasting, but I get very light headed and woozy if I go more than 24 hours without solid food no matter how many veggie or fruit juices I drink. One day.....

However, I now KNOW the feeling of starvation that hits me during a flush is mostly all in my head as I've far too often skipped dinner because of being too busy and even a few times on purpose to test myself. I can now easily last 16 to 20 hours without food, it's the word "NO" that seems to affect me the most. If I know I can eat, I'm not nearly as hungry as when the imposed NO FOOD limit is there. Our minds are really fascinating, aren't they?

On the other hand, the recommended 'no food after 2:00' keeps me from being violently ill, but every time I read the part that says "you won't be hungry" I roll over laughing. HA! Some lucky people can eat almost up to the the oil mix. NOT ME! I wish I was one of them, but my metabolism is still rather touchy and demanding.

Unfortunately, the few times I've given in and eaten later in the day I truly regretted it. For me, it is sooooo much easier to just deal with the hunger pangs and drink the olive oil / grapefruit mix on a basically empty stomach. The times I cheated and ate in the afternoon or evening made me horribly ill, like the oil just soaked into the food and trapped it in my stomach. UGH!

After being by my side during all my 'experimentations', my husband sometimes questions why I'm such an enthusiastic believer in Liver Flushing - well, they work! I feel better than I have in many years! The experimentation is how I learned how *my* body responds and what flush is best for me as well as what does NOT work for me.

Ahhhh, but to be able to eat past 2:00...... sigh...
