Newbie..best book for thyroid question

Hello all,

I am new here. I am wondering what is the best book for hypothyroid and dealing with doctors.

I was looking at:

The Thyroid Solution : A Mind-Body Program for Beating Depression and Regaining Your Emotional andPhysical Health by Arem Ridha

And:

Living Well with Hypothyroidism: What Your Doctor Doesn't Tell You... That You Need to Know by Mary Shomon

I am curious as to what is the best one of these two for recent inf. to use when I go to a new endcrinologist.

All other responses/ recommendations appreciated too.
