>>"Perhaps you could explain (in detail) why I am in the very best of health with abundant energy, an ideal BMI, and with no deficiencies on a mainly vegan/vegetarian diet of 30 years standing?"<<
Simply put... it may be the best diet for *you*...
One thing we need to keep in mind though... *healthy* (getting in all of the required nutrients, including proteins) vegan diets, have been *enabled* by modern stores and agribusiness... If one were to rely strictly on indigenousness local foods, it would be quite a different story; especially in locations of extreme weather conditions with short and\or harsh growing seasons, i.e. arctic circle, deserts, etc.
Most likely why there were few, if any (I do not know of any), entirely *vegetarian* cultures throughout history.
Again... vegan, or vegetarianism, raw or otherwise, is a lifestyle that has largely been *made* possible through modern agribusiness.
