You're probably right about the quote.

A good example of how what I was taught in school was wrong. :)

What I'm talking about here is those in power who have a vested interest in holding onto their money and power.

Personal change is another aspect (for example, deciding to turn to wholistic health instead of drugs to get well). That's another thing altogether from what I'm talking about. There are so many types of change.

I would LOVE to not have to use fossil fuels. But we've had this discussion already, so let's lay it to rest. :)
