There are many people who have no choice but to stay where they are in the Gulf, they don't have the means to be able to up sticks and leave, or they have family and other reasons to stay. They do need real advice on how to make the best of a bad situation, and that is what many are doing.
I personally don't think that the Gulf will be back to what it was, pre oil drilling, (there has been much contamination of the Gulf waters before this latest BP disaster), but there will be a "new normal", and for those that can't leave, it will mean dealing with all that entails.
I'm glad to see the back of all the OTT Conspiracy stuff, such as the FEMA camps, the mass deaths, evacuations, threat of using nuclear bombs to fix the problem well, the whole gulf blowing up etc etc. These horror stories do nothing to help those that cannot leave, and just cause more fear and stress. There are problems in the Gulf still, and probably will be for decades to come, but keep it real.
