Sometimes, if moderator thinks a message contains a content that is in breach of CureZone TOS or in breach of Forum Guidelines , a moderator have several options:
1. To hide just that single message
2. To hide that message and all replies to that message
3. To be nice, and instead of removing the complete message, just to remove one part that may be problematic.
4. something else, like trying to contact the author of a message and ask him to edit it, but that may take too much time, cause the author may not reply for a long time.
If there is a long message, and just one single sentence is in breach of TOS, a moderator may opt to remove just that part, rather then removing the whole message.
Sometimes, a moderator may leave a short note
[message edited by forum moderator],
or sometimes, when a moderator just removes a URL from a message, a moderator may not leave any comment.
It all depends on how much time and inspiration a moderator has on his hands.
There are also many private forums on CureZone.
Beside CureZone rules and TOS, an owner of a private forum may apply some extra rules.
May allow more freedom (like allowing debates), or may allow less freedom, depending on who is a forum owner.
But, if you provide a link to message(s) you are referring to, I may better understand your question.
