Yes, good points.  While we should not let ourselves be trapped into the myth of large scale manmade global warming, neither should we allow knowledge of that fallacy to give us the green light to go ahead with our destruction of the planet.  Just as our natural bodies are being overwhelmed by the unnatural things we do and produce, so is the natural biosphere as we know it becoming overwhelmed by essentially the same things.  Life of course will likely adjust and go on and so will the planet.  But maybe not life as we know it or the planet as we know it.
